We live in the turks and caicos islands and we have 1963 douglas vespa, the scooter was refurbished in the UK prior to us moving here and after a year or so had some starting issues (6v), our local mechanic agreed to convert it to 12v and lets just say after 2 years we have it back with us but he has not completed the 12v conversion (other than the flywheel), we are looking to see if there is a mechanic out there that would be interested in coming down to providenciales to finish the 12v conversion and get it running again in exchange for a vacation (we would provide the accommodation in our rental studio free of charge). Of course this would need a bit more discussion but is this something any qualified mechanic/owner with upgrade experience would be interested in? Many thanks Marc
