I've got a 1965 VLB 1T engine apart, Starting a complete restore. The one bearing (needle bearing} on the axle gear shaft toward the selector box is half hidden by case. I looks like no snap ring so I would think it should just tap out. I removed the needles and cage but the outer part is still in case. Any suggestions on how to remove. I don't care about damaging it as all bearings and seals will be replaced. I'm thinking about heating case and use a small socket that covers as much of the bearing as possible. Thanks for any help
